Here my first post in English.
A photograph of the church of Auvers sur Oise.
Auvers was the birth place of the impressionist painters: Daubigny, precursor of the movement; Cézanne whom converted to Impressionism in Auvers; so did Pissarro; and Van Gogh who spent only 70 days there, in 1890, but had a feverous painting sojourn (70 canvas of which some are among the most famous in the world). Van Gogh stayed in the inn Ravoux (House of Van Gogh) at the opposite end of the town hall and is buried with his brother Théo in the cemetery of Auvers. [edited by PB-AL]

Very nice pix, just a little overexpo in the midle. I guessed you have to do it in order to capture perfectly the moon and the stars? (or are they just dusts on your ccd just kidding).

A shutter speed of 30s minimum is essential to capture the maximum of light.

if you look at the clock...it says 3:15 am is morning...pm is afternoon

So I meant 3 o'clock in the morning...don't you ever sleep.

This is because of your time that is different of our time. For me, the post of Klick is at 9.39 am ;)

Wip,I like your picture...it's very artcy...it looks alomost like a painting. Very nicely done.

Klick, the stair steps look like the one you took with the lonely old lady.

The old woman, it was with montmartre.

I see...I always wanted to visite that place...Auvers sur Oise...everytimes I drive by to go to the airport...Roissy Charles de Gaulle I pass by the place and it's always too late...may be next time...always.

We always defer to the following day...
